Golf and relaxation in a rural atmosphere

In the midst of wide fields and heathland lies the small district of Oxstedt, which is especially popular with Golfers and horse lovers. The very name of the coastal golf club "Hohe Klint" refers to the immediate proximity to the sea and the old field names of the Geestrücken, whose gentle relief is followed by the eighteen holes.
But all other nature lovers will also get their money's worth here: the Cuxhaven Coastal Heaths with their wild horses and bison invite you to go for a walk, horseback riding and extended cycling tours.

The golfing attractiveness of the Cuxhaven golf course is confirmed by its longstanding top-five placement in the official rating of the German Golf Association. The 18-hole golf course "Hohe Klint" is a 62-hectare coastal golf course that is extremely popular due to its fantastic location, offers all the benefits of golf and is a sporting challenge. A prerequisite for a round of golf is the presentation of a club card from a golf club with a registered handicap of -36 or less. The golf fee card is accepted and members of the VcG are welcome. Groups are requested to register early.

Horse lovers are also in their element at Oxstedt. You can bring your own horse, take riding lessons and ride out into the Cuxhaven coastal heath landscape to the mudflat Sea.

Recreation and fun are part of the holiday offer here. The heated Oxstedt open-air swimming pool with its three-lane slide is a wonderful place to swim, and not just for children. A diving tower, sunbathing lawn and baby paddling pool make the outdoor pool an attractive destination for the whole family.
